
Desrianna Clary is committed to improving her community. She is a wonderful mother to her two daughters and a spirited leader.
Desrianna became active in her community through the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation’s Camp as a peer leader in 2007 – 2008. She conducted the MBTA # 23 bus safety survey which was focused on installing cameras on buses. Through this initiative she served as a speaker at a press conference held at the J.F.K Library regarding the survey and its impact on public safety.
From 2008-2009, she worked with the Greater Four Corners Action Coalition’s transformative mediation program and helped organize a youth conference focused on transformative meditation. She Currently serves in an administrative role for Action for Equity, a coalition of community-based and social justice organizations based primarily in communities of color, working for all people to have quality housing, good jobs, and job access, environmental quality, and transportation access. Desrianna also works as a home health aide helping seniors citizens with daily living activities.
Desrianna Clary is passionate about helping others and is thankful to be a part of the organizations which have helped mold her into the women she is today.
