At the last meeting scheduled by MassDOT on December 9th information that was supposed to be given to the community was overlooked. Details regarding Detours, Jobs, Public Safety, Communication, Police Details, Construction Scheduling, MBTA etc. Three years ago WSSVNA (W. Selden St. & Vicinity N.A.) requested answers to be addressed by various city departments, there was a promise that this would be done, to date it has not.
WSSVNA is requesting that each elected official attend a community meeting along with residents and business owners scheduled for Monday, January 27th at 6:00p at 875 Morton Street, in the training room. This meeting is very important to the adjacent and surrounding communities neighboring this project.
Below is a copy of the MBTA Bus #21 & #26 detour routes for the 10 day closure and also the vehicular traffic detour routes for the 10 day closure. The vehicular detour map has all of the proposed detour signs (approximately 44). We have also included 9 variable (electronic) message boards and a key with their locations.
